• Molly Miller and Colt Haynes

Molly Miller and Colt Haynes cameĀ up in the news today. It appears that a team of private investigators are working on the case now. This case involves a male subject, James Con Nipp, who is presently in custody in Love County, Oklahoma. Knipp allegedly led OHP on a chase with Miller in the car and was apparently the last person to see her and Colt Haynes alive.

This case makes a good point on why you should hire a private investigator and I quote it directly from the news story:

OHP Captain Ronnie Hampton said, “Once we turned our case in to the prosecutor in January and they were charged with crimes, at that point our investigation into the Molly Miller incident was pretty much over.”

So who takes over when this happens? One could infer based on this case that no one does. It’s basically up to the family to pursue justice any way they can. Enter the private investigation team of 9 that the family of Molly Miller hired to investigate this case. I’d like to point out that they immediately start out in a good way by stating, “their team of 9 investigators want to make it clear they’re here to work alongside local law enforcement and not step on any toes”. Contrary to the negative image that private investigators sometimes have, this team appears to be doing it right.

This is a good thing for the case as a whole, it now has 9 dedicated investigators with the time an resources to pursue all the leads where law enforcement was unable to according to the new story. I truly hope they crack the case.
